100 years ago many New Zealanders were serving on the front lines of WWI, far from home. Care packages were sent from home by loved ones and complete strangers to brighten the day of homesick soldiers. In this temporary exhibition children from Turitea School have created their own care packages for fictitious soldiers in WWI. Each package is unique and contains each child's interpretation of what a care package can mean. On display throughout the school holidays.
