"...Fine sunny day.  I spent some time darning my only pair [trousers], and strengthening the seat, which was almost thread bare.  One of my Subs wanted to photo me, sitting on edge of my bivvy with my only pair off and on my knees, and I darning and stitching!!!! ..."
