Roy Jennings Richardson - Son of George Richardson and Helena Richardson, Ohakea, Wellington, New Zealand.

Upon enlistment in late 1915, he was listed as law clerk, working for solicitor, John Power of Fielding.

Roy served as a Private in the Wellington Regiment of the NZ Infantry (N.Z.E.F), 1st Bn. in France, late 1916 onwards. Killed in action, 2 Aug 1917 thought to be in France or Belgium aged 22.  His service number was 15656.

He is buried in Mud Corner Cemetery, 1 1/4 S.E. of Warenton, UK. Grave Ref: II. D. 1., alongside 84 other soldiers, the vast majority of whom were from the New Zealand and Australian Forces.
