Butter well a pie dish, line it with grated cheese. Drop on dish 4 or 6 raw eggs (whole), pour over then 3 tablespoons of cream, season with salt and cayenne, sprinkle grated cheese thickly over top and two more tablespoons of cream. Place in oven until the eggs set, about five to ten minutes (no longer) and serve at once. Milk may be used instead of cream.
